well, this experience was absolutely less than riveting. the shared bathroom, which smells like mouse poo, was miles away from my room. then came the check-in—had to wait 30 mins while staff were busy chatting. i half expected a complimentary drink for my trouble, but that would’ve been too much to ask, wouldn't it?

The lodge is a beautiful escape with lush greenery all around. We enjoyed the fantastic food, particularly the local dishes at the restaurant. Renting the penthouse was a highlight for us, as it had a lovely patio where we could relax with our small dog.
For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities available.

Charming room, delightful restaurant, with a friendly atmosphere and convenient access to nearby cultural attractions. The shower pressure was impressive during my stay.

This place was just a good pick for a two-day stay in Bangkok with reasonable value. The kitchen made fresh pureed baby food, which was a nice surprise for my little one. Be mindful of the river boat service for easy transport around the area.

A tranquil escape amidst the bustling city
I loved the beautiful cafe and chill-out area, creating a peaceful retreat from the vibrancy of Bangkok. The rooms were artfully decorated with a rustic vibe, and the shower pressure was remarkably strong. the room I stayed in felt a bit cramped for two people, and the firmness of the bed may not be for everyone.

i really enjoyed the lounge space downstairs at shanti lodge. it was so quiet that it didn’t feel like i was in a busy city! the shared bathroom was always clean, which was a big plus. we got the budget double room, and while small, it was worth the price.
the staff could be more helpful.
